Molts d’aquells que em coneixen fan broma, a vegades, amb l’expressió que acostumo a utilitzar quan em demanen quina és la millor tecnologia informàtica per un tema, i responc que ‘jo soc agnòstic de tecnologia’.
I és cert, ja que no considero que hi hagi tecnologies o productes específics millors que altres, sinó alguns més adequats a altres, en funció del que necessitem en cada moment.
De fet, a nivell professional, el meu dia a dia, és un entorn Windows i això vol dir, la plataforma de productivitat de Microsoft Office i en especial, el Microsoft Outlook.
Ara bé, a nivell personal, en el seu moment vaig decidir adquirir un domini propi, per tenir un correu que no depengués d’un ‘tercer’ tipus col·legi professional, acadèmia,… i el vaig comprar a través del blogger i així també vaig tenir un altre entorn de productivitat (Google Apps) amb un blog,…
I llavors sorgeix la necessitat.
Com puc fer tenir integrats o coordinats aspectes com el calendari o els contactes?
Si dóno d’alta una cita al meu calendari d’outlook com puc fer que també aparegui al meu calendari de google. I si és un contacte?
O al revés, per suposat.
Doncs bé, en el meu cas, després de buscar alternatives vaig optar per dues aplicacions molt senzilles i pràctiques i que funcionen perfectament:
Poseu aquests noms al cercador i us els descarregueu i instal·leu. La configuració és mínima, ja que només cal donar el nom del compte i contrassenya de l’usuari de google apps i tenir les aplicacions en marxa al PC amb Outlook.
I ja està!

Permitidme que aproveche unos minutos antes de tomar el tren de vuelta para Barcelona, y que estoy en la sala Club de Renfe, en la estación Joaquín Sorolla, de Valencia, para compartir con los lectores un claro ejemplo de “espacios flexibles”.
Y es que la sala Club de esta estación es un fiel reflejo de como pueden ser los ‘espacios flexibles’ para el trabajo en una organización, dentro de lo que, desde el Centro de Innovación en Productividad (www.micproductivity.com) enmarcarnos en el ‘nuevo mundo del trabajo’ y ‘la nueva manera de trabajar en las empresas’ y ‘el trabajo en el 3r lugar’.
¿Y cómo tienen que ser estos espacios?
Tal y como el nombre indica deberían combinar diferentes usos para facilitar diferentes manera de trabajar:
Y si os fijáis por las fotos que tomé, la sala club es un fiel reflejo, repito, de esta combinación de espacios
Parece que la sala estuviera vacía, ¿verdad?
Había gente, por supuesto, pero por temas de privacidad fui tomando fotos de los espacios que estaban vacíos o aprovechando que las personas se habían levantado un momento.

Por cierto, este post lo empecé a redactar en la sala club y lo terminé y he publicado desde el EUROMED.

Y la pregunta que siempre nos hacemos, aquellos que estamos habituados a trabajar de esta manera (teletrabajo, trabajo en el tercer lugar – remoto,…) y en espacios flexibles: ¿cuánto tardarán la mayoría de las organizaciones en interiorizar esta manera de trabajar?
Cuestión de tiempo y de gestión del cambio
Un muy interesante y provechoso seminario de formación, esta mañana, en la Cámara de Comercio de Valencia, bajo el título “La gestión productiva de los canales 2.0”.
Como dinamizador del mismo (facilitador que dirían en algunos sitios) estoy muy satisfecho de la alta participación y respuesta de los participantes.
Hemos aprovechado para revisar, con todo el grupo, una visión global de las diferentes herramientas (canales) 2.0 disponibles y su uso para las empresas, destacando la importancia de analizar quienes son nuestros objetivos, público destinatarios, ubicación geográfica,…, para decidir la estrategia sobre qué canales y como utilizarlos.
Y la segunda parte, obviamente, la dedicamos a compartir diferentes buenas prácticas y herramientas de trabajo para gestionar, de manera muy productiva y eficiente, todos estos canales corporativos y profesionales.
El pasado miércoles, organizado por el grupo de usuarios de Xing Tarragona, y en las magníficas instalaciones del Club Náutico de Cambrils, tuve ocasión de impartir la conferencia “Los retos del nuevo mundo del trabajo: movilidad, trabajo en el tercer lugar y espacios flexibles”.

I will not reproduce the content of this interesting article, of course, but I want to highlight 5 of 10 changes in the nature of work that Gartner predicts will occur in our enterprises:
And the last message of the document: “The challenge for IT professionals concerned with supporting (or enhancing the performance of) high-value work is going to be in moving from the metaphors of the 1980s (Office Automation), 1990s (Groupware), 2000s (Enterprise 2.0) into a brave new world characterized by increased volatility, hyperconnectedness, swarming and more.”
Now, the question we have to answer is “has yet our company evolved from the office automation to groupware and enterprise 2.0 in order to be prepared for this new challenge?”
2010 is ending, and so, it’s time to analyze the 2011 trends in different aspects.
In my case, I’m interested in all the aspects related with IT and Information Systems, obviously.
An to do this, I reviewed different sources of information to collect the predictions they propose for next year.

Last week I had the opportunity to participate in the iProductivity Workshop that our center (Microsoft Innovation Center – Productivity Center) organized at the Commerce Chamber of Terrassa (Barcelona).

Yesterday, I was in charge of a presentacion about ‘iProductivity Technologies” and “The new world of the work”, in Barcelona.
